This sari is derived from the very first piece Vibhuti Kabra imagined in Munga: a dupatta, born from her 2017 idea of Munga silk woven in real zari. Here it is reimagined in natural Munga, left in the silk’s own soft ivory tone, exactly as it comes from the cocoon.

Woven in Banaras, its natural ground is scattered with stylised floral bootas in gold zari, and a broad, luminous band of gold zari frames the pallu, edged in fine borders.
