Sachi Zari Chanderi Tissue Dupatta

Woven on fine Chanderi tissue, this dupatta uses real zari in two tones, made the traditional way real zari has always been made. The gold zari is pure silver (97.77%) water-gilded with a fine layer of real gold, and the silver zari is pure silver (98.22%). Their purity is verified by independent lab assay certificates.

An all-over jaal of flowing vines, open blossoms and curling leaves spreads across a soft baby pink ground. It is worked in gold and silver zari together, the classic Ganga-Jamuna pairing. Every motif is woven individually in the Khadwa technique, which gives the zari a raised, sculpted richness that a running weave cannot match. The borders are traced with fine zari lines and a row of small silver blossoms, finished in a warm mustard selvedge. The sheer tissue ground lets the jaal glow without weighing down the drape.
