This is French Chantilly lace, made on traditional Leavers looms. These are rare 19th-century machines that recreate the intricacy of handmade lace, thread by thread. In gleaming metallic gold, it unfolds in soft floral sprays and scrolling leaves on a fine, airy net, finished with the delicate eyelash edge that defines true Chantilly.

Worn as a dupatta, it’s pure lightness: a veil of gold that drapes softly and catches the light with every move. Paired with Neev’s handwoven Banarasi, it brings two great textile traditions into one look, the precision of French lace and the richness of the Banaras loom.
