Sachi Zari Sona Rupa Jaal Intricate Fabric

Woven on pure Katan silk in Banaras, this fabric uses real zari in two metals. The silver zari is 98.17% pure silver. The gold zari is pure silver (98.01%) water-gilded with a fine layer of real gold. Both are verified by independent lab assay certificates.

A graceful jaal of rose sprays, with open blooms and trailing leaves, spreads across a glowing marigold ground. Each motif is woven individually in the Khadwa technique, which gives the zari a raised, sculpted richness. The roses are worked in Ganga-Jamuna, with silver zari lighting up the heart of each flower against the gold. Silk with a sunlit sheen and real zari in an even all-over jaal make this a canvas for a kurta, a lehenga or a statement jacket.
