DEVI | The Jangla Suit Set

A suit set like no other.

It’s woven on pure Katan silk in Banaras, in a deep midnight blue that lets the gold speak. The kurta fabric is an exceptional jangla jaal of blossoms, buds and curling leaves, so dense and continuous it feels like a forest in gold. It’s woven in Khadwa, with every motif woven individually, and it took 4,000 weaving cards on the loom to bring this one design to life.

The borders are woven separately, to be adorned exactly as you wish: on the hem, the sleeves or the neckline.

The dupatta is the crown of the set, woven in Tanchoi in our finest two-gold zari concept. Grand floral sprays in two tones of gold sit side by side, and the play of the two golds gives every bloom depth, dimension and light. It took over 60 days to weave this single piece, and the result is of exceptional beauty. Silk tassels finish the ends.
